Investigate Colombian club to launder drug money

Разследват колумбийски клуб за пране на пари от наркотици  Colombian football club Independiente (Santa Fe) is under investigation for alleged laundering of large sums of drug money, transmits Reuters. Prosecutor Guillermo Mendoza told reporters that the government has confiscated 29 million dollars and 17 million from drug traffickers Daniel Barrera, who is supposed to be "laundered" to the club.
"We have no doubt that some of this money is aimed at financing Independiente (Santa Fe," said police chief Oscar Naranho. Santa Fe, six times champion of Colombia, is currently leading the championship Clausura. The boss of the club said Cesar Pastra that will assist the police in the investigation.
