Chilean miners rescued will play a football game with politicians

Спасените чилийски миньори ще играят футболен мач с политици Rescued after two months Chilean underground miners received an interesting proposal from the country's president Sebastian Pinera: to play a football game against a team of politicians, who will himself head of state and ministers, cabinet members. The match will take place on 25 October, the place has not yet been clarified. Captain of the mining team will be 53-year-old Franklin Lobos, a former Chilean international. Lobos has played as a midfielder in the national soccer team of Chile at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1984 and a year.

On his release from the rescue capsule Lobos briefly danced with a soccer ball, keeping it in the air with foot and knee. Then he hugged his family and the president of Chile, Sebastian Pinera. Lobos was a truck driver, who were riding miners to mine and vice versa. It is in the past with the group ride, when the collapse occurred on 5 August, left the 33 miners buried over 600 meters below ground. Chilean miners rescued were invited to attend matches at the biggest football grandees such as Real Madrid and Manchester United. His admiration and support for them voiced football legends like Pele, Diego Maradona, Bobby Charlton and current Barcelona striker David Villa.
